What do you do?

With over 14 fulfilling years at Edenred, and the last couple of years specifically in this Account Management role, I’ve always been deeply engaged with our customers, striving to understand their needs and exceed their expectations. My core competency is a genuine passion for our customers, which drives me to put myself in their shoes and find creative solutions to their challenges.
Every day brings new opportunities to connect with our customers and make a positive impact on their experience 🙂

What’s one of your biggest challenges at work?

A common challenge I encounter is helping our clients and cardholders adapt to new processes, especially those that involve the ever-evolving compliance regulations. It can be a bit of a hurdle to explain the legal complexities involved. I believe that direct communication and personalized support are crucial for ensuring everyone is on the same page.

What part of your work makes you smile?

The most rewarding part of my job is witnessing the transformation in our customers’ relationships. It’s incredibly gratifying when I’m able to resolve their challenges. By building trust and fostering a positive connection, I’ve seen firsthand how their attitudes can evolve – from having doubts about a new entity in their lives, to truly becoming a partner. It’s a testament to the power of strong relationships and the impact we can make on our customers’ experiences.

How is your team contributing to financial inclusion for the unbanked sector in the UAE?

In the unbanked sector of the UAE, many blue-collar workers face challenges due to a lack of financial literacy. Initially, there was skepticism about their ability to utilise financial services. However, after visiting the workers’ accommodations and providing personalised assistance with our C3pay app and cards, we’ve witnessed a remarkable transformation.

Our most popular features are remittances, allowing workers to send money home, and salary payments. These services have not only broken stereotypes but also empowered blue-collar workers to embrace financial inclusion. The impact is truly gratifying, as each person we educate goes on to share their knowledge with others, creating a ripple effect of financial empowerment 💪🏽

What’s your mother tongue? Which languages do you speak?

Urdu is my mother tongue, since I’m from Pakistan. I also speak English and Hindi fluently.

What do you like best about Edenred?

Edenred has become my second home over the past decade, a place where I’ve found unwavering support and a sense of belonging. The company has been there for me through thick and thin, offering flexibility and understanding that have allowed me to thrive both personally and professionally. Edenred’s trust in its employees and no-micromanagement approach create a positive and empowering work environment.
