🎤 What do you do?
➡️ As the Cyber Security lead, my daily focus is on addressing security threats to keep the business up and running while collaborating with the IT and Product teams to provide guidance for any project.
🎤 What’s one of your biggest challenges at work?
➡️ I believe that fostering a culture of Cyber Security is an ongoing challenge. It requires constant effort to engage both technical and non-technical personnel, and to help them realize that they are integral members of the Cyber Security Team.
🎤 What part of your work makes you smile?
➡️ The opportunity to interact with people in the office is truly something to be grateful for.
🎤 How is your team contributing to financial inclusion for the unbanked sector in the UAE?
➡️ I firmly believe that a well-designed security approach is essential for navigating the challenges and threats faced by financial institutions. It’s my responsibility to embed security requirements into every step of the financial process to ensure compliance and protection.
🎤 What’s one piece of advice you’d like to give to people entering this field today?
➡️ The openness of people at every level to listen and support new ideas makes a significant difference, creating a strong sense of belonging.

➡️ My mother tongue is Portuguese, but I also speak Spanish and English.

➡️ Batman – because he’s always prepared and doesn’t rely on superpowers.

➡️ In Brazil, in a company called Stefanini as IT Support.
