These remarkable individuals, often referred to as blue-collar workers, have built the magnificent structures that define Dubai’s iconic waterfront – and needless to say, they rarely get to enjoy these landmarks themselves. So we thought – let’s take them on a Dubai Marina cruise! ⛵
Why?
At Edenred UAE, we proudly call these hardworking blue-collar workers ‘Champions‘, as a recognition of their unwavering commitment to building this nation while supporting their families back home.
After last year’s exhilarating indoor skydiving experience, we wanted to create another unforgettable memory for these deserving Champions. This time, we took to the waters for a luxurious yacht cruise along Dubai Marina while taking in the panoramic views of the city that they helped build.
Setting Sail on Dubai Marina
We invited 5 outstanding employees from one of our clients to experience the splendor of Dubai from a perspective they had never seen before – from the deck of a private yacht cruising through Dubai Marina.
Watching their expressions as they boarded the yacht was truly priceless – a mixture of disbelief, excitement, and gratitude.
“I helped build three of these towers,” shared one of the Champions as he pointed out. “I’ve worked in construction for over 12 years but today is the first time I’m seeing them from the water. It’s… beautiful.”
A Day of Luxury and Recognition
The four-hour cruise took our Champions past the Palm Jumeirah, Bluewaters Island, Ain Dubai and other such structural marvels. The day included lunch and some interactive games that really made them come out of their shell.
The laughter and joy that echoed across the water that day, spoke volumes about how meaningful this experience was for each of them.
Looking beyond the horizon
As our yacht docked back at the marina after a day of sunshine and celebration, our Champions disembarked with memories that will last a lifetime. These experiences create bridges between the Champions and the fruits of their labour, allowing them to enjoy the luxury and beauty they’ve helped create for others. It’s our way of saying “thank you” for their sacrifices and dedication.
