🎤 What do you do?
➡️ I’m the Head of Product Design at Edenred, where I lead a team of six talented Product Designers. On a daily basis, I connect with my team to ensure that projects are on track and aligned with our mission—delivering the best possible user experience to our customers.
🎤 What’s one of your biggest challenges at work?
➡️ One of our biggest challenges is designing the best user experience for an audience with low technological and financial literacy. To overcome this, we focus on deeply understanding their pain points and needs. We rigorously test every change before it goes live to increase the chances of success and ensure usability.
🎤 What part of your work makes you smile?
➡️ Knowing that we are making a positive impact on our users’ lives by providing them with essential financial services. Helping them navigate life in the UAE, far from their families, and offering solutions that genuinely improve their well-being is incredibly fulfilling.
🎤 How is your team contributing to financial inclusion for the unbanked sector in the UAE?
➡️ We have a deep understanding of our users, built over time, which enables us to tailor user experiences to their specific needs and tech proficiency. We focus on making our app intuitive and accessible by incorporating user-friendly design elements, offering multiple language options, and providing guided walkthroughs with video tutorials for every step. Our goal is to ensure that everyone, regardless of their background, feels empowered to use our financial services.
🎤 Now for some fun questions: Which languages do you speak?
➡️ I’m a native Spanish speaker, and I also speak English fluently. One day, I’d love to learn more Arabic—Inshallah!
🎤 Who’s your favorite superhero, and why?
➡️ I’m not much into superheroes, but if I had to name one, it would be my mother. She’s my real-life superhero.
🎤 What/where was your first job?
➡️ My first job was an internship at Romero Artero, one of the top design agencies in Madrid. I had the privilege of working there with clients like L’Oréal Paris, Maybelline New York, Viceroy, and Yelmo Cines.
🎤 What’s your favorite movie or TV show at the moment?
➡️ I’m a big fan of the TV show Vikings and the movie Mulholland Drive.
🎤 What’s the one thing you are absolutely passionate about?
➡️ Food—especially pizza. I love traveling the world, discovering new pizza places, and experimenting with making my own at home.
🎤 One destination from your travel bucket list?
➡️ Japan.
🎤 What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
➡️ Be passionate about whatever you do—not just in your job, but in every aspect of life.
