🎤 What do you do?
I am the Key Account Manager for our key B2B clients, and I oversee the account management team at Edenred UAE, as the team leader.
🎤 What’s one of your biggest challenges at work?
Right from onboarding and taking over from the Sales team, an Account Manager’s role here, includes educating companies on best payroll practices, facilitating the distribution of the C3Pay payroll cards, ensuring clients receive the necessary details for salary processing, access to the Edenred portal and a detailed training, the SLAs, introducing the new B2B and B2C products, fraud awareness training, app usage training, mobile app functionalities (balance, statements, international top-ups, money remittances, ATM pin queries, Unemployment Insurance subscriptions).
So believe or not, one of my biggest challenges is to ensure that everything works perfectly both for the company and the C3Pay cardholders! And that the process is followed by everyone in the respective departments.
The day by itself is pretty challenging, never a dull moment! 🙂
🎤 What part of your work makes you smile?
What I really like about my job is the aspect of meeting and educating new clients as well as updating our existing clients on new features or the newly upgraded features on the Edenred portal that will make their job easier, smoother, and faster.
🎤 How is your team contributing to financial inclusion for the unbanked sector in the UAE?
Edenred UAE’s mission is to empower the unbanked population of this country, i.e. provide access to financial services for individuals who are unbanked or underserved.
What we essentially do is support the other Edenred departments by sharing best practices from the market and voicing clients’ needs for Edenred to offer innovative payroll solutions to businesses, including digital payment options that are WPS-compliant, and thereby, contribute to financial stability for their employees.
