🎤 What do you do?
➡️My role is to primarily look after Operations, while our focus is financial inclusion for the unbanked sector in the UAE as we help them access basic financial services through the C3Pay mobile app.
🎤 What’s one of your biggest challenges at work?
➡️Digital Literacy. In an increasingly digital world, financial services are often delivered through digital platforms. Illiterate individuals face significant challenges while using technology, especially smartphones. We work especially hard on earning their trust, since they are often vulnerable.
🎤 What part of your work makes you smile?
➡️Happy customers honestly make me happy. I have witnessed the happiness of the unbanked employees, when they are able to access their money through the C3Pay app on their phones, which makes them really proud.
🎤 How is your team contributing to financial inclusion for the unbanked sector in the UAE?
➡️Financial inclusion in the unbanked sector requires a holistic approach that combines education, technology, community involvement, and regulatory support from our side, to ensure that illiterate individuals can access and benefit from financial services. My trained team distributes C3Pay Payroll Cards to clients all over the UAE, help to onboard their employees on the C3Pay app, educate them, and ensure that everyone’s KYC is updated.
Creating awareness among our users, to protect themselves from digital fraud, is something we also do. We believe financial literacy and responsible use of financial services is the way to fight fraud.
🎤 What’s your mother tongue? How many languages do you speak?
➡️My mother tongue is Malayalam, since I’m from Kerala. I also speak English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
